"It takes a long time, that one," Robb admits, fetching the horses' brushes to help her rub Lorica down. "And sometimes it all still feels right to say. It's when everyone around you sounds a certain way, and after a while you start to pick it up too. We are," he says with a smile, "from similar situations, I think--and some words leave the mind faster than others. But friends could be more informal, even at home, save in a court, or when you are marching at the head of an army and need your men to listen to you. But here, I'm talking far too much."
