Finding a Bowyer
She had spoken to Robb. He had agreed that Bran was old enough and responsible enough to have a bow of his own, especially given his age. Eowyn had not quite realized that Bran was ten and scolded herself mentally for presuming that size and age had anything to do with ability. Not having the use of his legs did not mean that Bran was any less able to become a warrior in his own way.
Kili was the only bowyer she knew and the only bowyer she would use even had she known another. She had grown to like these dwarrows as well during her time on the island, especially Kili and Fili. Lord Thorin reminded her quite firmly of Theoden King in his most regal mannerisms, which tended to make her revert to the stiffness and protocol required by the royal court. It was not so with Fili and Kili.
She did not know exactly where the dwarrows resided, other than that it was within one of the mountains, but she had nothing else to do with her day. She would walk around and near the entrances to the various caves and perhaps at some point she would find one of the dwarrows. Even if she did not find Kili, Fili or Lord Thorin would perhaps be willing to send a message to Kili for her.

"Wait but a moment," he added, and dashed back to strike a torch. "Please," he said, beckoning her forward when he appeared again at the mouth of the cave, this time illuminated. "Why have you come to see me?"

"I also kept things tidy for my brother at times," she admitted fondly. "And my cousin, for they were ever forgetful that dirty garments should not be strewn on the floor."

With a bow, he showed her into the cavern that served as their receiving chamber. It was sparsely furnished, as they largely made do with furs in place of chairs and lounges, but he offered her the only seat. "We have mead?"

The receiving chamber Kili led her to was spacious, if not overabundant in furniture. The furs served quite well as seating places, but she accepted Kili's offer to sit in the only seat.
"I would be delighted to partake of mead. Is it of your own brew or made by Robb Stark?"

He poured two flagons and presented her with one, touching the glasses together. "To our first and most beautiful human guest," he said with a twinkle.

"My brother might say that you have poor vision," she teased, "but I thank you for the honor nonetheless."
