Why do I always do the SOTPs in Eowyn's journal? Dunno. I just do.

Nikita: She works a shift or two a week as an EMT and manages Bondurant's the rest of the time. She's maybe actually becoming friends with Joel, as much as Joel wants to have friends, and I am amused at her penchant for trying to befriend Certified Grumps. She just likes them, and somehow they tend to like her snarky self too. She and Daisy have established a very casual friends with benefits situation, mostly consisting of them sparring while taunting each other, going for a drink after, and then going back to one of their respective flats.

Future plans: Possibly a minor fire at Bondurant's so it has to close for repair and renovation for awhile. It would reopen, of course. She might adopt a senior cat, as well. She talked to Regan about it and I just didn't do anything with that, but I like the idea of her having a little companion who didn't mind that she wasn't home much.

Eowyn: Still living in the country, working at the stables, and avoiding the city except when needed. She does like modern conveniences like hot water and plumbing, but she'll never be modern or want to live in a modern city.

Future: I'm not sure. She's a bit stagnant. She still has a few good friends, but there hasn't been any real plot for her recently and I don't know what to do about that. Maybe I need to rewatch LOTR.

Daniel: Daniel has had plenty of plot in the last year! Work-wise, he got a promotion, so he has a small team of NPCs now. He's also had quite a lot of personal plot. He realized he wasn't straight and that he was attracted to Tom, thought about it for six months, then told Tom about it last October and they started a relationship. He and Tom moved in together in June, right before Daniel went to his first ever Pride. I haven't posted either of those threads, but I should. He's really happy and I am delighted for him.

Future: I think he's going to get injured again. Just a little bit. I've been trying to decide if he should do more with the Darrow Dirty Cops plot that's been sort of floating in the background for a couple of years and would welcome input from any of the other cops or players of cops.

Me: I've been traveling a lot, mostly for work, and have been busy with work when I've been home. I'm going on vacation this month and may or may not be willing to pay for international internet charges, so we'll see how much tagging I do.

When I get around to it (this week has killed me) I definitely wanna throw some of mine into your joint post! Hilde and Daniel could be fun again, and also S is friends with Tom and thus should probably meet Daniel at some point. :D Idk who of mine would be best for the others but I'm always down for whatever threads!

It's very much still open, so please do! I think Hilde and Daniel would be fun. He's amused by but also respectful of her determination to be a detective.

And yes, S and Daniel should meet! Daniel will have heard about him from Tom and will be interested to meet a friend of Tom's.

Maybe Jyn for Eowyn at some point since Eowyn and Obi-Wan Brunhama are goood friends?

That works! She's a bit moody but it's actually not a bad time to meet her at all.

I am 100% into that whole plot idea, Hopper would also be happy to help Daniel with it. >:D

I'm glad someone else would still like to play with this. Yay!

I think Becca had a thought that maybe they'd eventually discover that the Deputy Chief of Police was involved. I don't know if that's still her idea or if we would want to have it go that far, though. Daniel could certainly work with Hopper for smaller scale cleanup tasks, as it were.

EOWYN SHOULD OPEN A SWORD FIGHTING CLASS????? idk why this just LEAPT into my head while reading this but IT IS TRUE. Maybe it's all the Baldur's Gate 3 and the 'I am no man >O' that lives in my head rent free but yes. Idk if that's something you'd actually see for her but I think it could be a lot of fun and also at least two of mine would go to it!

Still glad that Daisy and Nikita hook up now and then XD good shit. If Daniel ends up wanting help from a Hunty lady she's an option, too. I can't remember if they've formally met but I remember the idea we had where he catches her being nosy on the computer at the precinct so maybe we could kick that off to make her available as an "ally" if he needs an extra?

Tom is very frowny face at the idea of Daniel getting injured again, even just a little bit, but he's very starry-eyed-face at Daniel meeting S!!!

A sword-fighting class! That's a great idea. Maybe she could even talk to some friends of hers who might want to teach different styles to make it even more interesting.

I think we had the idea about Daniel and Daisy working together but didn't do anything about it, so we certainly could.

Regan would love a swordfighting class because, well, she has reasons to need to know how to fight. Between all the home plots and her own canon being such a danger zone, she'd love the extra help. And Saoirse has an interest in fencing thanks to Daniel Arlington so she'd probably like to learn that, too!

Yes! I am very ball-droppy about Daisy because it's so easy to just let her do stuff "off camera", so to speak, but that doesn't mean I don't want to! Maybe I can get the post up during my vacation XD I am sitting with youtube right now so I'm gonna try to do some tag ins, then do my outstanding tags, then I'll write it up?
